Alissa is an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. She has been in the profession for 14 years in the collegiate environment including The University of Virginia, University of South Carolina, The University of Tennessee and Ball State University. Her responsibilities include designing and implementing programs which address the needs of strength, speed, power and overall athleticism while decreasing the chance for injury to occur in her student-athletes.
Alissa has been certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, United States Weightlifting, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She completed her education and is now waiting to take her certification test to become a Certified Massage Therapist. She also holds a BS in Exercise Science from California State University and a Masters in Sports Biomechanics from Ball State University.
